the sculpture composed of a circular mirroring surface is located in one of the panoramic points of the historic center of noci (italy), which offers an overall view of the itria valley. the installation aims to configure a scenario capable of reinventing and re-reading the ordinary perception of the city, expanding the possible relationships between oneself and the public space. the intention is to interrupt the material continuity of the historic center, configuring a new glimpse free from behavioral codes and open to new uses and practices. the citizens can recognize themselves in a scenario transformed by reflection, far from the common imagination, where they can experiment freely. uranotopia is a stretch of the city in which the changing colors of the sky and clouds will provide a backdrop for a new public life.
